Egg-cellent Spring Gummies by Brittanie of Brittanie Bakes:
Gummies are great treat to make for kids Easter baskets or to use for party favors. With so many designs of silicone candy molds, why wouldn't you want to try them out too?! The recipe I used calls for 3 simple ingredients; Jello in the color-flavor of your choice, gelatin and water (you can google it). If you want to make extra flavorful gummies you could enhance the flavor by adding candy flavors. I was going for a springtime vibe so I used candy molds in the shapes of eggs, ducks and bunnies and an alphabet mold. That mold is fun to use when you are serving your gummies on a platter. Since my colorful and fun shaped gummies need to be seen by as many eyes as possible, I loved packing them in clear top candy boxes. Bakers Party Shop carries boxes in large, small and oval shaped that come with clear lids so your sweets can be packed in style and still be seen. It's the perfect presentation for gifting or tucking into Easter baskets! I'm officially hooked on making gummies at home now. It would be a fun food craft to do with kids. With a few pantry staples and some molds you could have an afternoon of fun and yum!

Egg-cellent Spring Cake by Lexi of My Batter Fingers:
If there's one thing I love about spring, it's eggs. That's right people, I love eggs! For my egg-cellent spring cake I chose to make a malted vanilla cake with mini Cadbury eggs crushed into the batter and a drizzle of chocolate salted caramel between each layer. The frosting on the cake was done to replicate a speckled egg and was achieved with spattering the set buttercream frosting with edible art paint. I decorated the top of my egg themed cake with a buttercream nest, filled with various egg candies and chocolates.
I made chocolate eggs in two sizes and made them white and milk chocolate. Using a large soft brush I dusted some of the large white eggs with mixture of pink linen luster dust and shiny copper luster dust to make a soft rose gold color. Then I splattered the eggs with brown edible art paint, just like the cake. Cadbury mini eggs were added to my buttercream nest to tie in the cake flavor. When you cut and serve your cake you can decorate the plate with a few of the candies to make a pretty presentation. If you have leftover chocolate eggs it'd be nice to make some spring sweet for others! I packed my chocolate eggs in egg cartons making them perfect for gifting. I hope you all get as egg-cited about spring and making some egg-cellent spring sweets!
Tip: If you want to color your mini Cardbury eggs you can squirt some edible art paint in a small paper bowl and add a few eggs. Lightly slide the bowl back and forth on a flat surface to move the eggs around the paint in the bowl being gentle enough not to crack the shell of the eggs. Once colored to your liking place them on a paper plate to dry. You can use a second color to splatter paint them if you want them to match the cake.

Egg-cellent Spring Sugar Cookies by Amanda of Eleven Fifteen Bake Co:
Easter is such a reverent time in our home. As much as I love the spring colors most see this time of year, I chose a monochromatic, black and white palette for my spring sweets project featuring eggs. I had an idea I wanted to try out using 2 cookies to create a stand up cookie display. I used the versatile Sweet Sugarbelle egg cookie cutter to bake up egg and plaque shaped cookies. A simple white flood of royal icing was done over all the cookies. Once dry, I spritzed the eggs with black Sweet Sugarbelle edible coloring spritz. This effect would look great in any of her other fun colors so if you want a brighter look you can easily achieve it.
To assemble my stand up cookies, I used a toothpick to connect the cookies. I piped “grass” around the bottom of the egg cookie using a grass frosting tip to give the cookies extra security as well as creating the look that the cookies are sitting in grass. The final details on my egg cookies were flower decorations I made with gumpaste accented with silver dragees as their centers. Edible pearls would be a great substitute here as well! This was an egg-cellent spring sweet project to pull together and would make a great edible place setting at an Easter lunch!
