Doomsday Halloween Party Dessert Table
Check out our Doomsday Halloween Party dessert table that was inspired by the designer Daydream Society's Doomsday partyware we carry. We think everyone will love this Halloween dessert table. A delightfully ghoulish twist was put on a few store bought sweets so you can assemble a skull party in no time. It might be hard to say what's more fun, the Halloween partyware or the sweet treats!
A cake doesn't have to be the only showstopper for your Halloween dessert table. We made marshmallow-cookie cupcake toppers that went in store bought cupcakes. We disguised the cupcakes multiples ways. After the toppers were made using our 6" plastic lollipop sticks they were placed in the swirl of frosting. Our cupcake "costume" was not done yet! We tossed one side of the swirl of frosting with our galaxy Sugarfetti™ sprinkles mix and other side we decorated with piped frosting stars and decorated with sugar pearls. Our cupcake costume was almost complete. We used 6x6 silver candy foil wrappers to fold up around the cupcake liners and boom...ready to be displayed. We'll share a step by step tutorial on how to make the skeleton cupcake toppers soon.
The Doomsday partyware collection offers coffin shaped plates, skull and crossbones napkins, poison skull cups and temporary tattoos you can use for party favors. This designer line of Halloween partyware has holographic metallic accents that will set the stage for you creating a creepy and fun Doomsday Halloween party of your own. Look how cool multiple kinds of sweets look on the coffin plates!
The unique coffin plates show off a variety of "tricks and treats". Every Halloween party should have a variety of sweets to choose from don't you think?! After all Halloween is for indulging in sweets. We went for it with our Doomsday Halloween party and think your guests would like a variety of options too.
We topped store bought mini cupcakes with a skull and crossbones candy sprinkles. Sugar cookies were piped with frosting accents, galaxy Sugarfetti™, mini bone candy sprinkles and sugar pearls. Pretzel cookies were topped with white cookie icing and dipped in shimmer white sanding sugar and shimmer purple sanding sugar. A skull and crossbones candy sprinkle completed their look. White rock candy sticks received additional sparkle by adding a little of the white cookie icing to the end and a toss in the galaxy Sugarfetti™. If this was your dessert plate at a Halloween party wouldn't you be very happy?!
A super easy Halloween treat to make for a Halloween party dessert table is chocolates. You can find candy molds to match almost any theme. We used a skull candy mold that was served as a dessert, used as part of the cake topper and could be wrapped in foil candy wrappers to be given out as party favors.
Look at the holographic accents on the Doomsday Halloween cups! Make your sipping more fun by adding a Silver foil paper straw and a rock candy stir stick. We had to add sprinkles to the rock candy stick....because why not!
If you are looking for fun ways to add some decor to your Doomsday Halloween party dessert table try using cupcake toppers and cake toppers in different ways. Our spider and web toppers were used as table decor as well as having the web used on our Doomsday Halloween cake.
A faux naked cake from Confection Deception was the centerpiece for our Halloween dessert table. The top was decorated with a mini cupcake, chocolates that were made in our skull candy mold and tombstone candy mold. The white chocolate skull was wrapped in a light blue foil candy wrapper to tie in the blue used in other areas of the display. If blue isn't your color we offer a wide variety of colors of foil candy wrappers. A cookie pretzel and sprinkles finished off our cake. Think of the tops of your cake as a blank canvas. The sky is the limit on the many ways you can decorate it! Have fun and creep it real.
